A Tested Faith

They say that a faith that has not been tested is a faith without any proof. I suppose there is some truth to that. If you were to take a diamond ring to a jeweler and asked them if it was a real diamond ring. They would conduct a few different tests on the rock in order to ensure that it is a real diamond. If you were to take a pearl necklace to that same jeweler and asked them if it was a real pearl necklace they would do a few things to it in order to check if it was the real deal. These items are valuable if they are genuine. If they are not genuine they are not worth much. And so it is with our faith. The True You

I heard a story about a pastor who went out visiting his church members on a Saturday afternoon. At one house, it was obvious that someone was home, but nobody came to the door even though the preacher knocked several times. Finally, the minister took out his church business card and wrote out "Revelation 3:20" on the back of it and stuck it in the door: The verse says, "Behold I stand at the door and knock. Paul writing to the Philippians said, "that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death, if, by any means, I may attain to the r
