Be a better Christian

These are what I call five ways to be a better Christian: (Write them down) 1. Be truthful- Tell the truth. If you want others to see Christ in your life start by telling the truth. (No more lies) Psalm 19:14 says, “Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in Your sight, O LORD, my strength and my Redeemer.” 2. Be real- Be yourself. Don’t pretend to be something you’re not. If you want others to see Christ in your life then be a 100% genuine Christian. Rom 12:9 says, “Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good.” 3. Be honest- Be willing to admit your shortcomings. If you want others to see Christ in your life then allow yourse

Enjoy your life

Life is a gift that God has given to each one of us. We only have one life to live here on earth. Those that have a family to share life with know that it has its ups and downs. But, at the end of the day we should enjoy every moment. If we were to count our blessings we would all see that there are many things that we can be thankful for. Jesus shared about this topic when He said, "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly." John 10:10 The enemy would try to lie to us. Suffering Savior

As we approach passion week I am reminded of the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross. Jesus was without sin, yet He took upon His body the sin of the world. He took the full weight , and the full penalty for our sin upon His body. He who was without sin became sin for us. For God so loved the world that He gave is one and only Son. The prophet Isaiah describes our suffering Savior by saying, "But He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, And by His scourging we are healed." Isaiah 53:5 As we recall this event lets remember that it was love that held our Savior on the cross. Jesus showed His love with
