The Christian life can sometimes become tiresome. We face many challenges in our daily lives. We have obstacles that come our way. And it can sometimes become discouraging to do the right thing. We even have a number of questions that come to mind such as; why do I have to go through this? How long will this last? What are you doing God? The Apostle Paul experienced a life of difficulty as well. He was persecuted for trying to share Gods message. He was thrown into prison for His Christian life. And he was beaten for refusing to stay silent as he shared the gospel. When he was writing to the church in Galatia he told them, "And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart." He believed this message so much that he echoed the same thing when he wrote to the church in Thessalonica saying, "But as for you, brethren, do not grow weary in doing good." Paul's words are a sobering reminder to all of us. Don't grow weary in doing good! Don't give up! Don't throw in the towel! God is still with you! And one day God is going to come through on our behalf!
