There is an old saying that says, "Its not what you say, but how you say it." There is a lot of truth to that statement. The words that come out of our mouths do matter. God has called every single one of us to evangelize the world. God wants us to share His message. God wants us to tell the world about His Son Jesus. Having said that, we need to make sure that the way we talk to people is done in a loving godly manner. When Paul was writing to the church in Colossi he told them, "Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one." Col 4:6 Sometimes we are yelling God's message when we should be speaking God's message. Sometimes our tone of voice is loud when it should be softer. Are your words seasoned with grace? When people hear you speak do they hear Jesus in your tone of voice? If it is Jesus that they hear speaking, then I guarantee more people will respond to His message!
