Death

According to The World Health Organization they say that, “One person commits suicide about every 40 seconds, one person is murdered every 60 seconds and one person dies in armed conflict every 100 seconds.” One out of every person in America will die one day. It’s a one in one chance that you and Iwill die someday. What would drive a young man to kill his own family member, or his little brother? Just recently I read about a 12-year-old boy who savagely killed his six-month-old baby brother by stabbing him 17 times and then cutting off his left hand as he lay in his bed. Police found out about this by the boy himself because after he did it he went straight to the police station with the murder weapon and confessed to the crime. They went back to the scene of the crime and broke the news to the mother who had no idea that her little baby boy was dead. She was shocked as you can imagine and this took place in the United Kingdom. Stuff like this happens a lot around the world. Even in our own city. Just recently a gunman killed a man and a woman here in Moreno Valley and it ended with a shootout with officers where one cop was injured. Murder is all around us you guys. Not sure if any of you are considering moving but if you are, planning on moving please don’t buy any property in Honduras because According to CNN they say that, “Honduras has the world's highest murder rate in the world according to a report from the U.N. Office of Drugs and Crime. Well, that’s probably terrible news but it’s also the truth. Psalm 23:4 tells us, "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me." Despite death, you and I can be encouraged that with Jesus there is life. Although the wages of sin is death, the gift of God is eternal life through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Turn to Him today and you will never regret it!
