Knowing that we will stand before The Lord one day should affect the way we live for Him today. Knowing that we will stand before The Lord one day should impact the way we stand for Him here on this earth. Jesus said, “Whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.” Mathew 10:33 Paul writing to the Romans said that all will stand before the judgment seat of Christ one day. Hebrews 9:27 says, “it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment,” Many people both Christians and non-Christians do believe in heavenly things. According to Fox News Most Americans believe in God, heaven, miracles and angels. The latest FOX News poll finds that more than nine in 10 Americans (91 percent) believe in God and almost as many believe in heaven (87 percent). In addition, 84 percent say they believe in miracles and 79 percent in angels. What about the dark side? Almost three-quarters of Americans (74 percent) say they believe in hell and two-thirds in the devil (67 percent). That is incredible and what that tells me is that people are interested in heavenly things. King Solomon said that He has placed eternity in their hearts. The world is need of the gospel of Jesus Christ. It is up to us to share this message with them because as Christians we are accountable to the Lord and we will stand before Jesus one day in hopes to hearing those words, “good and faithful servant.” Will you stand for Him today?
