Pray Often

They say that a Christian without prayer is like lungs without air, without it there is no way that a Christian can survive. We need prayer in order to breathe as a believer. Prayer is a necessary part our life. It is our life line. It is the way that we seek God’s will for our life. Prayer is not just us speaking to God, but the way that God speaks to us. Prayer is not just about us being heard, but a way that we can hear the voice of God.

1 Tim 2:8 says, "I desire therefore that the men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting;"

Here is what others have said about prayer:

Martin Luther said, “If I fail to spend two hours in prayer each morning, the devil gets the victory through the day. I have so much business I cannot get on without spending three hours daily in prayer.”

Corrie ten Boom said, "Don’t pray when you feel like it. Have an appointment with the Lord and keep it. A man is powerful on his knees."

John Bunyan said, "Prayer will make a man cease from sin, or sin will entice a man to cease from prayer."

Charles Spurgeon said, “I would rather teach one man to pray than ten men to preach.”

Andrew Murray said, “The man who mobilizes the Christian church to pray will make the greatest contribution to world evangelization in history.”

How would you define prayer?

How often do you prayer?

*Please spend a few moments praying, and asking God how He could use your prayer life!
